If you follow me on Instagram, you will have seen the family pics from our trip to Grandma Penny last weekend. If not why not?! Here’s the link https://www.instagram.com/loopyloulaura/
We were only staying one night but managed to fill the entire car 🙂
After arriving we headed straight for the beach. It was bit chilly due to the wind but lovely to feel sand beneath our toes (mine are painted with Avon’s Wild Blackcurrant). Can you believe I spent over a year visiting Dymchurch before I found out it had a sandy beach?! We always walked the dogs along the sea front but the tide was always up!
I forced everyone to have an ice cream 🙂 Anya had a major panic about drips so I ended up stealing half of hers helping.
We headed back to Penny’s to relax in the garden. Favourite toy? The red train that Chris’ dad had made during their childhood.
Zach was fascinated by Jess, he is used to Ollie who is much bigger!
Zach loved his dad’s hat!
In the morning we headed to the rec to walk the dogs and let the children on the playground. I think Anya would be happy if we did a tour of all the playgrounds in the country…
The weekend finished off with more playing in the garden. I love this photo of Matthew and Zach: they just love each other’s company so much 🙂
Anya and Grandma Penny spent a lot of time gardening and playing on the river bank.
So that was our weekend, perfect way to end half term 🙂
